App Tip: gFTP

Hi everyone! It’s been quite some time since my last post. Well, everything’s been a bit more quiet anyway, probably due to the summer heat. It’s also been a while since my last “App Tip” post. This month’s App Tip is “gFTP”. A WSFTP work-a-like using GTK. Having a good gui-based ftp program is very useful, as I don’t like to fiddle around with the shell for doing ftp stuff. Gentoo users will find an eBuild in their repository for installing gFTP. Users of other distributions should visit the gnome homepage for more details, or just google the web directly for gFTP. Check out the screenshot below:

Actually users of distributions other than Gentoo should first of all search their (if any) package system. Debian/Ubuntu/More will have the apt-system for example.

Shout it out!
