App Tip: GnomeBaker
Published on May 29th, 2006 in Gentoo, Linux
This month’s App Tip (well it’s the first one ever actually, I wonder wether I should create this as a monthly special, hmm…): GnomeBaker - It’s an outstanding Linux CD / DVD Burning Application. Why is it outstanding you ask? Well, for lots of reasons, but the most important one is its usability. If you’ve ever used Nero Burning Rom, you are sure able to use GnomeBaker. In my opinion, it’s the easiest one of its kind on Linux and at the same time, it provides enough features to even satisfy geeks who might need to do some more fancy stuff than normal users. Its website can be found here.
One more thing though: Gentoo users should emerge the dvd+rw-tools as well if they haven’t already, otherwise GnomeBaker is unable to burn everything.

Cool, I never ran across a good CD burning program for Linux. Good to know there is one out there.
