NTP Howto

Picture:Clock Published on April 28th, 2006 in Gentoo

So I finally decided to use ntp on my Gentoo box for a more accurate system clock. Having used this feature on Fedora and other distributions, I thought this wouldn’t be to complex. I was wrong! It takes quite a few modifications to your system’s config files and a recompile of your kernel. It took me approx. 20 minutes till I was finally up & running. The documentation though is pretty good, as always with Gentoo.
